Actress Amy Schumer Confirms Separation from Husband of Seven Years
Entertainer Amy Schumer has revealed that she and her partner, cook Chris Fischer are getting a divorce following a seven-year union.
The actress shared in an Instagram post on this week, accompanied by a picture of the pair on a train, that they had made the "tough choice" to part ways and will continue to focus on caring for their six-year-old son.
"Peaceful, filled with love and mutual respect! Family forever," she wrote.
Both in their mid-forties, exchanged vows in early 2018 and had their son a year later.

The star quipped in the online announcement that the split is unrelated to her shedding pounds and not prompted by Fischer's status as an "award winning chef who can still turn heads".
He earned the prestigious James Beard award in the American Cooking category for his 2015 cookbook focusing on Martha's Vineyard cuisine.
