Man Utd Announces Signing of Germany Star Striker Lea Schuller
The Red Devils' women's team has completed a major addition by bringing in German international striker Lea Schuller who joins from Bayern Munich.
The experienced forward, who put pen to paper on a deal that will keep her at the club until June 2029, is the team's second new arrival of the January transfer window, coming after the signing of defender Hanna Lundkvist.
A Proven Winner
Schuller spent five years at Bayern Munich, making over 100 appearances and playing a key role in the team claim four league titles.
On the international stage, her statistics is similarly impressive, with 54 goals in 82 appearances for the German national team.
"From the first conversations I held with manager Marc Skinner and the club, the ambitions of everyone involved were very clear," stated Schuller.
She featured in the team that were beaten finalists to England at Euro 2022 and later claimed a third-place finish at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

"I still have so much that I aim to achieve in my career, and I am convinced that Manchester United is the ideal place to join," she added.
"I believe that the way the team plays of football will be a great fit for my game. I am confident my qualities and know-how can help us to realize our objectives both in England and in the Champions League."

Strengthening for the Future
United are aiming to be active in the transfer window as manager Marc Skinner looks to bolster his team for the knockout stages of the top European competition.
They have also secured a new deal with important playmaker Hinata Miyazawa, who will now stay until the end of the decade.
