Devoted followers of the pop star are urging that a person who breached a fence and touched the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or removed from Singapore.

A viral footage shows the Australian man shoving aside media personnel and charging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a event pathway surrounded by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being detained", though court documents indicated that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account features recordings of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney performance in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last year.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is clearly a legal violation," stated an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Fans Express Concern Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Many followers criticized Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the end of her 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented another response on Instagram.

Some attendees also faulted security officers at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals demanded digital services to block Mr Wen's videos.

Response and Event Details

In clips circulating online, Grande looked surprised when she was grabbed by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Many of attendees had gathered in a mass of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore venue, including a number who had queued for as long as eight hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be premiered on November 21, is the sequel of a dual version of the acclaimed theatrical production Wicked, which focuses on the surprising relationship between two distinct sorceresses.

The musical itself is a spin-off of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a light pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful movie of the previous year in the UK, and scored a dozen award recognitions, winning a pair for outstanding attire and production design.
