The Two Fatalities Revealed in Brown University Shooting as Law Enforcement Continue Search for Gunman.

The pair of scholars who died in the recent mass shooting in Providence were honored at the start of the week – while an intensive search for their shooter persisted following the freeing by Rhode Island officials of the single suspect detained in connection in the case.

Honoring a Lost Student

The young woman Ella Cook, a second-year scholar from Alabama, was remembered as “a wonderful, steady, devout, shining presence”, according to the Birmingham's Cathedral Church of the Advent, which offered condolences for her at a gathering on Sunday.
